Mission
The Englewood Cliffs Education Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt charitable organization. Our mission is to create, supplement and support programs that will enhance the quality of education and improve student achievement. ECEF will raise and direct funds to programs, teacher-grant proposals, and the purchase of new/enhanced equipment, which are not part of the annual budget but are needed most, to enrich the educational experience of students in the EnglewoodCliffs School District.
Since inception in 2006, ECEF has funded a variety of in-school and after-school programs for our children as well as purchasing “wish list” items for each grade.

- 6th Grade (2008) and 8th Grade Theatre Residency (2007)
- 7th and 8th Grade Integrated Algebra (2008 & 2009)
- 1st Grade Literature Poetry & Art
- Digital Camera for general educational use
- 2nd & 4th Grades Great Books (2007)
- Kindergarten blocks, Rainbow Parachute and classroom equipment
- 4th Grade Maps with rollers, easels and VCR
- 5th and 6th Grade Math Enrichment
- 6th through 8th Grade Introduction to Great Monuments of Western Art
- 6th through 8th grade Computer Art/Digital Photography
- Fun with Art 1st and 2nd at North Cliff, 3rd through 5th grades at Upper School
- Eat yourself to Health 1st and 2nd Grade
- Middle School Science Bus
